Board of Selectmen
The Board of Selectmen meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 10:00 a.m.. The meetings are held in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall.

Board of Finance
The Board of Finance meets on the third Tuesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 8:00 p.m.. The meetings are held in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall. (Note: Extra budgetary meetings are held during February and March; Check at Town Clerk's office for details).

Board of Education
The Board of Education meets on the first and third Monday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held at the Library of the New Canaan High School.

Board of Assessment Appeals
Special meetings are scheduled to hear tax appeals as required. Real estate, motor vehicle, and personal property appeals are heard in March. Motor vehicle tax appeals only are heard in September. Check at Town Clerk's office.

Building Board of Appeals

Board of Human Services
The Board of Human Services meets on the second Wednesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 3:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the Vine Cottage, 61 Main Street.

Commission for the Aging
The Commission on Aging meets on the fourth Monday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 4:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the Vine Cottage, 61 Main Street.

Environmental Commission
The Environmental Commission meets on the third Monday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall.

Emergency Medical Services Commission
The Emergency Medical Services Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held in the Police Department Training Room, 174 South Avenue.

Fire Commission
The Fire Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 12:00 Noon. The meetings are held at Fire Headquarters, 60 Main Street.

Historic District Commission

Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning Commission meets on the last Tuesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall.

Parks and Recreation Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the last Monday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 8:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the Lapham Community Center in Waveny Park

Parking Commission
The Parking Commission meets on the first Thursday of every odd month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 8:00 p.m. The meetings are held in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall.

Police Commission
The Police Commission meets on the third Wednesday of the month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 6:00 p.m. The meetings are held at Police Headquarters, 174 South Avenue.

Town Council
The Town Council meets on the second Wednesday of each month. The normal starting time for the meeting is 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall.

Utilities Commission
The Utilities Commission meets the second Wednesday of each odd month at 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room, 2nd floor of Town Hall; plus additionally scheduled meetings as required.

Youth Commission
The Youth Commission's normal meeting date is Thursday at either 6:30 p.m. or 8:15 p.m. The particular Thursday this Commission meets varies month to month. Check specific schedule at the Town Clerk's office, or call 203-594-3076. The meetings are held in the Vine Cottage, 61 Main Street.

Zoning Board of Appeals
