Agenda:   File with Town Clerk no less than 24 hours before meeting convenes.
Adding to Agenda:   By 2/3 vote.
Filing Record of Vote:   Must be available 48 hours after meeting.
Filing Minutes: # No later than 7 days after meeting.

Special Meeting
Notice:   File with Town Clerk at least 24 hours before meeting.
Agenda:   File with Town Clerk no less than 24 hours before meeting convenes - state time, place & business to be transacted.
Adding to Agenda:   Not allowed
Filing Record of Vote:   48 hours after meeting.
Filing Minutes: # No later than 7 days after meeting.

Emergency Meeting
Notice:   None.
Agenda:   None.
Adding to Agenda:   Not allowed.
Filing Record of Vote:   48 hours after meeting.
Filing Minutes: # File with Town Clerk within 72 hours after the meeting, state reason for emergency.

# Please review your agency's requirement for place of filing meeting minutes. Note: the Town's Charter & Code may have additional requirements for filing minutes. ADJOURNED MEETINGS and CONTINUED HEARINGS: Meetings or hearings may be adjourned or continued to a specified time and place. Written notice of the time and place must be posted at the door of the place of the adjourned meeting within 24 hours of the time of the adjournment. If a hearing is continued within 24 hours, posting at the place of the adjourned meeting must be immediate. Filing adjourned or continued meeting notices with the Town Clerk is recommended.EXECUTIVE SESSION: Only agency members may attend, except for persons invited to present testimony or opinion. The agency must take a 2/3 vote in public and state the purpose (examples beflow) before going into executive session.
