Good Citizen Dog Training will present two dog obedience classes, Beginners or Puppy Kindergarten. Beginners is a 7-week program for dogs, over five months of age, and their owners. The class meets once a week to train dogs to walk quietly beside their handlers; to heel; to come; sit; down; stand; stay and other important exercises. Puppy Kindergarten is a 7-week program for puppies under 5 months of age, and their handlers. The class meets once a week to train puppies good manners including "come" when called and all the exercises included in the beginners class. The classes are open to New Canaan residents only. The classes will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-1:00 for Puppy Kindergarten or 1:30-2:30 for Beginners beginning September 16 through October 28 in Waveny Park at the PowerHouse Theatre parking lot. Qualifying dogs must be rabies vaccinated. The class is limited to 10 dogs and their handlers.
