Recreation Programs
Youth Paddle 2008 Winter/Spring Additional Info:
The New Canaan Recreation Department sponsors a Waveny Youth Paddle Program offering kids in grades 5 through 8 a chance to learn and play the winter sport of Paddle Tennis on the Waveny Park Paddle Courts. The five-week program will begin in February 2008.
The program will be supervised by Tracey Volet focusing primarily on play and small group instruction will be keyed to the needs of the class.  Parents must drop off and pick up their child from the courts each day of the program. Participants must bring their own paddle racket or borrow one of the available loaner rackets.
 
Program Dates and Fees


Waveny Park Paddle Tennis Courts

GRADES 5 & 6 BOYS- MONDAYS 4:00 - 5:00 P.M.
February 25 through March 31 (no class 3/24) (snow date April 7)
Fee: $50. per person

GRADES 5 & 6 GIRLS- WEDNESDAYS 4:00 - 5:00 P.M.
February 27 through March 26 (snow date April 2)
Fee: $50. per person 

GRADES 7 & 8 BOYS AND GIRLS- MONDAYS 3:00 - 4:00 P.M.
February 25 through March 31 (no class 3/24) (snow date April 7)
Fee: $50. per person
Each program requires a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 participants.
